Following the successful EURAM Early
Career Colloquia held in Nuremberg, Innsbruck, Dublin, Lichtenstein and
Almeria we are pleased to announce that the 6th EURAM Early Career
Colloquium (EECC) will be hosted by the Jagiellonian University in
Krakow, Faculty of Management and Social Communication in February 2015.
The aim of the EECC is to offer a platform
for early career academics (broadly defined e.g. assistant professors,
Post-doctoral researchers, recently appointed lecturers/associate
professors, advanced PhD students) to come together to discuss key
challenges, learn from experts and share career related insights. The
EECC provides a forum for networking, knowledge exchange and development
of research collaborations.
Where: Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland.
Who: Early Career Scholars in all fields of management.

The theme of the Krakow EECC is “How to PRomote your research?”. Key sessions will build on this theme covering the domains of research promotion.
Also, this year young researchers will
have for the first time a unique opportunity to work on their work-in-
progress papers with mentors and will receive a chance to present their
final papers during EURAM 2015 conference in Warszawa! Thus, if
you are participating and presenting a paper during the EECC in Krakow
you will automatically have the possibility to participate and present
your further developed paper at the EECC dedicated track during the
EURAM 2015 conference.
Your benefit: You kill two birds
with one stone: being part of the EECC equals being accepted for
presentation during the EURAM 2015 conference…and even more given that
you have the unique opportunity to get friendly reviews while working on
your paper during the EECC in Krakow.

Registration: Send us your CV and abstract of the paper you would like to develop during EECC before December 30, 2014 (deadline extended!).
Participation fee
(160EUR) covers cost of catering, social excursions and workshop
materials. Participants are kindly requested to cover transportation and
accommodation cost. We will be happy to help you find convenient and
affordable accommodation in Kraków. Ryanair, EasyJet and other airlines
offer regular, direct cheap flights to Kraków.

The Guest Speakers and Mentors of the 6th EECC
Prof. Dr. Luca Gnan
Luca Gnan is Professor of Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and at Bocconi University. Luca has been Vice-President, Conference Chair and Executive Committee Member of the European Academy of Management (EURAM). He is now the President of EURAM.
Prof. Dr. Peter McKiernan
Peter McKiernan is Professor of Management at the Strathclyde Business School. He has considerable business experience, having consulted widely in the strategy area for leading multinational companies, in the public sector and for SMEs. Peter has been Vice Chairman, Chairman, President and Dean of the Fellow’s College of the British Academy of Management (BAM) and Vice President and President of the European Academy of Management (EURAM). He is also EURAM Fellow since 2012.
Prof. Dr. Stefan Güldenberg
Stefan Güldenberg holds the Chair in International Management at the University of Liechtenstein, Vaduz, Principality of Liechtenstein. He has been a visiting researcher at the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He is the Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Liechtenstein.
Prof. Dr. Kathrin M. Möslein
Kathrin Möslein holds the Chair for Information Systems I – Innovation & Value Creation at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). She is also a member of the team of directors of the Center for Leading Innovation and Cooperation (CLIC) at HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL).
Steffen Roth is Assistant Professor of
Management and Organization at the ESC Rennes School of Business. He is
also an Affiliated Professor of Sociology at the Yerevan State
University and acting as DBA Supervisor at the University of Liverpool
School of Management. He was awarded a Dr. rer. pol. (PhD in
economics) from the Chemnitz University of Technology and recently
defended his second PhD thesis in organizational sociology at the
University of Geneva.
Prof. Dr. Anne-Katrin Neyer Anne-Katrin Neyer is professor of Human Resources Management and Business Governance at the Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg (Germany). She holds a PhD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (Austria) and received her Habilitation from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany). She was a post-doctoral research fellow at the UK’s Advanced Institute of Management Research at London Business School and has been a lecturer and visiting researcher at various international institutions. Anne-Katrin is vice president (responsible for the development of the early career researchers) in the Executive Committee of the European Academy of Management.
Prof. Dr. Wojciech Czakon
Prof. Dr. Miia Martinsuo
Miia Martinsuois Professor of Industrial Management and Head of Department at the Department of Industrial Management, Tampere University of Technology, Finland. Her field of research and teaching is industrial operations, particularly in project and service business. Her publications appear e.g. in Journal of Product Innovation Management, International Journal of Project Management, Creativity and Innovation Management, International Journal of Managing Projects in Business, Studies in Higher Education, and Project Management Journal. Her current research interests include: service business innovation; steering and selecting product development project portfolios; the autonomy, control and efficiency of product and service development projects; and organizational transformation towards service business.
