International
Conference on Economic and Social Studies 2014 (ICESoS` 14) is the
premier forum for presentation of new advances and research in the
fields of economics and management. The conference will focus on the
theme "Regional Economic Development".
The
conference will bring together leading researchers in the domain of
interest from the region and around the world. The theme “Regional
Economic Development“ is expected to be the discussion point among
scholars during the conference to reach solutions to the barriers to the
economic progress in Balkan region with a special focus on former
Yugoslavian countries.
The
conference program is planned to have two separate sessions where the
conference theme will be handled for practitioners in different sectors
and for academics in universities. The session for greater audience will
be in the format of an opening ceremony where experts and experienced
academics will deliver their speech on regional economic development to
propose solutions to the barriers to the economic progress in the
region. The academic sessions will provide a platform for academics from
the world universities to present their research findings regarding the
conference theme.
This
year's conference will continue in the following years with the same
theme –Regional Economic Development- by focusing on different sectors
in the economy. In this regard, partnership from regional universities
is necessary for bringing different perspectives from different parts of
the Balkan region.
There will be three channels for publication in this year's conference:
1. An edited book that will collect regional economic development papers that will be published by Cambridge Publishing
2. Refereed papers will be published in the Journal of Economics and Social Studies (JECOSS)
3. Refereed conference proceedings will be published in the proceedings book.
